Andy Parisi

Early on

I was born and raised in New York City into a typically loud Italian family.   I graduated from Empire State College with a degree in Environmental Science and minor in Criminal Justice.  While there, I was a volunteer firefighter during college.  Sadly, I was involved in rescue and recovery at Ground Zero on September 11th.  I later started my law enforcement career as a New York City Park Ranger.  I relocated to Virginia in 2006, and took a Park Police position with Virginia State Parks.  Then in 2008, I joined the Powhatan Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division.

After years of struggling on my own, I began developing severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD related to my career baggage.  I unfortunately had to leave law enforcement for my own well-being.   Following that decision, I utilized EMDR therapy, Qest4 Bioenergetic Testing, and NeurOptima® Neurofeedback.  These all greatly improved my quality of life.

Current

I feel God has put this on my heart to serve and help others.

I am now offering in-person neurofeedback sessions with NeurOptimal® specifically for police, fire, EMS, dispatcher, corrections, and military. If you or someone you know might benefit from this service, please feel free to share my information.

In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, snorkeling, metal detecting, and going on adventures with my family.
